Report or Request Removal of Content

If you appear in content on nghtstand and you want it gone, or you see something that shouldn't be here, you can ask us to remove it. You don't need an account. nghtstand, Inc. has zero tolerance for non-consensual intimate imagery ("NCII"), real or computer-generated (deepfake), for content that shows someone without their consent, and for anything that sexualizes or endangers a minor.

Is your home, your business or another place on our map, and you want it off? Ask us to remove a place.

Who can ask

• Anyone shown in a photo, message or profile on nghtstand.
• A parent or legal guardian of a minor shown in any content.
• Someone acting for the person shown, with their permission.
• Anyone who sees content they believe is illegal or breaks our rules.

How to ask

Email support@nghtstand.com with the subject "Content Removal" and include:

• a link, screenshot or description that lets us find the content;
• that you are the person shown (or their parent, guardian or representative), or why you believe the content is illegal or against our rules;
• your name and a way to reach you, so we can tell you the outcome.

Members can also use Report on the profile or in the chat where they saw it. You never need to send us a copy of an intimate image.

What we do

• Evidence of illegal or non-compliant content: removed immediately, while we review.
• Intimate images shared without consent (TAKE IT DOWN Act): removed, along with reasonable efforts to remove identical copies, within 48 hours of a valid request.
• Anything involving a minor: removed at once, the account is closed, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as the law requires.
• Content of you that you didn't agree to: we check, through a reasonable process, whether the person who posted it had your consent. If consent can't be shown, or you show it is no longer valid under the law, we remove it with immediate effect.
• Every other request is resolved within 5 business days, as our Complaints Policy promises, and we tell you what we decided.

We never penalize anyone for a request made in good faith.

If you disagree

If we decide not to remove something and you disagree, or your own content was removed and you think that was a mistake, see our Appeals Policy. A disagreement we can't settle together is resolved by a neutral body, at our expense.
